Pencil Underglaze Blue

The Chrysanthos Underglaze Pencil is a versatile and creative tool for adding colorful hand-drawn designs to your bisque pieces or simply marking your ware. It can be used at a low temperature of Cone 06 and can go as high as Cone 10.

These nontoxic pencils are entirely safe to use and do not contain lead. We want you to have complete peace of mind as you explore your creativity. However, it’s worth noting that the colors may fade slightly as the temperature is increased. This means that the final strength of the color will depend on specific firing conditions.

The colors are quite resilient to smudging, but to ensure your design remains intact, it’s best to slightly sponge over it with clear glaze before brushing or dipping
